Here's a fun series of Disney geek art showing off the popular princesses sporting a different kind of fashion trend. The character art was created by by deviantART artist viria13. Now, you may be saying to yourself... "Damn Venkman, what the hell is your deal with Disney princesses?" What can I say? I can't get away from them! I have a couple little girls obsessed with these leading ladies, and so I must be obsessed with them as well. I'm not the only one though, I know for a fact that many of you are obsessed with them as well , which is why I keep sharing the stuff I find with you. Hope you like these![1]

First Look at James McAvoy in WELCOME TO THE PUNCH

{}

The image you see above is our first look at James McAvoy looking like a badass detective in the upcoming crime thriller Welcome to the Punch

The film was written and directed by Eran Creevy, and was previously described as “an epic crime thriller in the mould of Heat or Internal Affairs.” The action thriller follows a London detective (McAvoy) and an ex-criminal named Red Diesel (Mark Strong) who is forced to return from his Icelandic hideaway. Diesel is an old nemesis of the detective, but they are forced to team up in a bid to expose a high-level conspiracy.

Here's hoping this turns out to be a entertaining flick!

George Lucas Says Filming STAR WARS Was Painful

{}

George Lucas recently gave some candid commentary to EW (via Blastr) on what it was like to film Star Wars: A New Hope. Lucas revealed that the process of filming was hard, painful and unpleasant at times.

Here is what he had to say:

I didn't expect the film to be successful at all. I don't think anybody did.

He goes on to say:

The first film was really hard. It was painful. It was unpleasant. We never had enough time or enough money, and we were always compromising on everything, and it was a difficult experience all the way around.

You can watch the full video of Lucas talking to EW here[1].

Phantom Menace is being re-released in 3D on Feb. 10, 2012. Even though the filming process was so "painful" for Lucas, I plan on going to see the films as they arrive in theaters. Are you looking forward to seeing them again in theaters? What do you think about Lucas' statements above?

Russian Soyuz grounded again, SpaceX Dragon may be next to ISS

Well, this is no good: testing has revealed cracks in the Soyuz landing capsule that Russia was supposed to launch to the ISS, rendering it decidedly un-spaceworthy. The launch date has been rescheduled until April or May, meaning that SpaceX's Dragon capsule might be the next arrival at the ISS.
